History

Established in 1974 as Europax, an alternative maintenance service provider for the Paxman engine range. Business developed in commercial markets including Paxman emergency standby generator overhauls in banks, hospitals and waterworks, and progressed to the Paxman engines on board the SD14 and B26 General Cargo Vessels.

Europax was acquired by Tex Holdings PLC in 1998 and the name changed to Eurotex International Ltd. A major procurement service contract was awarded by the Lockheed Corporation for the Royal Saudi Air Force, and contracts continued to be developed with international Navies, including the Indian Navy, the Chilean Navy, USCG and the US Navy. Eurotex became known as a leading supplier of Paxman engine spares.

Numerous international railway and naval projects and new clients including BAE Systems has increased demand. Eurotex International relocated to a larger facility in Claydon, UK in 2018.
