044 – Eurotex International Expands operations.

With a sustained increase in demand for workshop overhauls and spare parts distribution, Eurotex International has expanded its operations by acquiring the neighbouring workshops.

The move has doubled the facility enabling dedicated areas for component stripping, inspection and rebuild, strengthening our quality protocols.

 

043 – Another successful 12RP200 Engine refurbishment.

Eurotex International Ltd has successfully completed the first phase of a contract to refurbish two 12RP200 engines for overseas sovereign navy.

Working with our exclusive representative working in Santiago, the engines were returned to the company’s facility in the UK for comprehensive rebuild and test under strict ISO 9001:2008 quality procedures and in accordance with the high standards set by Eurotex International.

The partnership has several more projects under negotiation and developing, which will be reported on in the near future.

 

042 – ISO Inspection by Lloyds

Eurotex International Limited were recently subjected to their 3 year Quality Accreditation recertification inspection to ISO 9001:2008 for a further 3 years.

This underscores all activities undertaken to the highest level of Quality Accreditation and includes:-

041 – Vacancies

We have a vacancy for an experienced diesel engine service engineer at our Brightlingsea facility. Knowledge of Paxman Valenta/Ventura engines is essential. UK and overseas travel is a requirement of the post.

It is preferred that the acceptable candidate is available for an immediate start.

039 – Eurotex take delivery of coordinate measuring machine.

As part of our continued commitment to improve our quality procedures and engine build protocols, Eurotex International has invested in a new computer aided measuring machine.

This new coordinate measuring machine offers the company the ability to accurately measure parts at goods inward inspection and engine components intended to be used during rehabilitation to guarantee their quality.

The measurements taken can be retained on the computer for batch traceability or used directly in our 3D CAD software for future reference.

Many of our customers have experienced obsolescence which has inhibited maintenance of existing equipment and this addition to Eurotex support programmes will enable accurate and comprehensive manufacturing drawings to be developed and accepted by our customers to provide peace of mind for ongoing support.

037 – Eurotex increased testing capacity opens new markets

Since Eurotex International Ltd revamped the testing facilities at its factory facility in Brightlingsea, Essex, it has opened up a whole new world of opportunities for clients with engines outside the Paxman Ventura and Valenta range within which we specialise in.

Recent engines tested have ranged from a Paxman 12YJ Ventura to a Paxman 12RP200 Valenta through to and other smaller engines such as Cummins, Caterpillar, Ruston, and several smaller varieties.

With the flexibility of staff to adjust the test bed and incorporate a comprehensive range of engines, nothing is beyond our capability and coupled to the enhanced ISO Quality Accreditation we give all our customers the warn feeling of total and comprehensive satisfaction through a wider range of their requirement.

034 – QA Migration to ISO 9001:2008

Eurotex International were successfully migrated to the optimum Quality Management System Accreditation in August 2010 following an Inspection and thorough audit of activities, procedures and operations by the LLOYD’S ASSESSOR.

The assessor complimented Eurotex International Ltd on their intellectual grasp and Management of the Quality System which brings them in line with the enhanced procedures required to reach the improved and more demanding aspects of the ISO 9001:2008 Certification.

The QMS offers our customers the knowledge that all our services and supplies, whether they be ‘in house’ or ‘in situ’, are executed to the highest level incorporating the most detailed and stringent Quality Controlled procedures available.

The Certification represents another clear milestone in the quest to provide all our customers with the service and support that they require to operate their fleets of diesel engines to the optimum.
