The latest extension to a major component service exchange programme for high population engine owners has been put in place by EUROTEX INTERNATIONAL LTD, in conjunction with its US-based partner company VIKING INCORPORATED.
Part of an ongoing support strategy for engine users worldwide, the new service concerns the Valenta 16RP200M and covers complete engines, crankcases, crankshafts and specific sub-assemblies. One recent contract involved a batch of cylinder heads for the United States Coast Guard, which was delivered within seven days of the requirement being notified and at a fraction of the cost of new units.
The service involves test and inspection of existing units in an ISO 9001 – 2000 Quality Accredited environment, implanting all new components and full assembly, so that immediate exchange can take place on board the vessel.
Requirements for flexibility and forward planning grow as engine age increases and Eurotex International has geared its support programme accordingly. It offers customers a cost-effective and expedient solution, while maintaining absolute confidence that the highest quality standards have been observed.
